Participate in telling the story about Seymour Fogel.
We encourage those interested in early 20th century art, abstract expressionism and modern art/modernism to share your thoughts about Fogel’s work. Without question, Seymour Fogel’s work is stunning, particularly if you have seen any of his murals, paintings, or sculptures in person; they will move you at the core.
While few collectors and galleries are familiar with his work (relative to other artists) despite exhibitions in prominent museums including the Whitney, Museum of Modern Art, Corcoran, Metropolitan (just to mention a few), an objective of this site is to change this fact. Given his high-profile work as an artist and teacher at the University of Texas, his work product is tremendously rich.
We want to engage and energize those interested in Fogel’s work - including those who are lucky enough to have his pieces in their own collection. We encourage you to post links/images of Fogel’s work, share stories, add comments, and keep the dialog going.
