This lovely painting sold for $4,500 in September, 2012. The painting is named "Untitled" and was created in 1958. It is oil on board, signed, and measures 47.5" x 35.25".

"Sentinel" created around 1978 sold for $4,000 in March of 2012. The unsigned painting is 27.5" x 13" and is mixed media on illustration board.

An innovative, untitled newspaper collage by Cy sold for $2,100 (excluding the Buyer's Premium) at William J. Jenack Auctioneers on April 3, 2011. The signed collage measures 30" by 40" and was created in 1977. Interestingly, the inclusion of a signed book did not raise the purchase price to even the minimum auction estimate (listed auction estimate: $4,000 to $6,000). It's time for a change enabling Cy's world-class work to be perceived and valued as such.

A beautiful 1953 oil on masonite entitied "Dawn Flight" sold for $16,000 (excluding the Buyer's Premium) at Treadway Gallery on December 5, 2010 -- below the estimated auction range of $25,000 to $35,000. The painting is large, 60" by 48", and carried a label of Graham Modern Gallery on the reverse.

A painting entitled Conclave (1950, 48x84, signed, Oil on Masonite with provenance from Graham Modern) sold for $15,000 excluding the Buyer's Premium at Bonhams in Los Angeles, CA. This is a fine example of Fogel's "flagellant" style combined with religious symbolism which embodied much of Fogel's Texas work.

A recent auction of a painting by Seymour Fogel included the abstract piece below. The untitled composition is Oil on Board and measures 18.5" x 52.5". The piece sold for $10,000 plus the Buyer's Premium.
